DOG TRAINING:
About Dog Training: I am a certified AKC Canine Good Citizen, Trick Dog, and Star Puppy trainer and evaluator. I also am an evaluator for Bright & Beautiful Therapy Dogs for those interested in Therapy Dog Certification. My training philosophy is balanced. I try to create a calm environment in which dogs and humans can communicate effectively, focusing on minimal correction and using a redirection to a desired behavior with positive reinforcement.

Training Times:
Appointments are made by the trainer after an evaluation. Times are limited and based on trainer’s availability, scheduled in 1 hour increments usually weekly
Please note: Time is limited in November and December 2024
Maternity Leave Pending: Due Date is 3/7/2025, depending on my impending delivery and ability to offer training, I may have extended maternity leave times in early-mid 2025. Lisa Brininger will still be holding classes while I am out. If you need to reach her, her number is: 815-535-1953

Evaluation Testing
Evaluations Available: AKC Star Puppy (only in person), Canine Good Citizen (only in person), Trick Dog (in person or video), and Home Manners (only in video)

Group training at Rock Falls Community Building
Must have age-appropriate proof of vaccinations (Must be current with DHPP, Rabies, and Bordetella) at a minimum
Classes are offered on Tuesdays
Advanced: A new round of advanced classes will start on January 7, 2025. Please contact us via phone or email if you are unsure if you qualify for the advanced classes. Pricing is $20/class (due each drop in) or $150 for the quarter when paid up-front at first class, Tuesdays at 6pm (Rock Falls Community Building)
Beginner/Puppy: $200 for 7 weeks, Tuesdays at 7pm (Rock Falls Community Building)
